CBT Canada is pleased to present a Mediterranean CME cruise from August 4-11, 2018 aboard the Crown Princess.

The CME is the acclaimed "triple strength" CBT Tools module (you'll earn 36.0 Mainpro+'s from just 12.0 workshop hours). Join us exploring the magical Mediterranean & you'll learn a multitude of ultra-brief CBT techniques to make your work much easier with both medical and psychiatric patients (cases).

The lead instructor Greg Dubord, MD is limber like a monkey from giving over 500 CBT workshops, and a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year. Assistant faculty includes University of Toronto bariatric specialist Angie Hong, MD, FCFP, Dipl ABOM, CMCBT, who will be presenting on food addiction and other psychological aspects of weight management.

Day 1. Everyone loves Barcelona! Sample tasty tapas and watch the gifted buskers of Las Ramblas. Visit the Columbus Monument and Maritime Museum. Tour Antoni Gaudi's architectural masterpieces, including Parc Güell, Casa Batlló, the newly-opened Casa Vicens, and the soaring Sagrada Familia. Marvel at the extraordinary creativity of Picasso. Watch Lionel Messi's wizardry at an FC Barcelona game.

Day 2. At sea, with CME from 9:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM to 4:30PM.

Day 3. Tour the famous Rock of Gibraltar, located at the southernmost tip of Europe, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Its unique location has played a pivotal role in history, as one of the world's most important military strongholds. You’ll feel on top of the world with the local Barbary macaques, with breathtaking views of the African coastline and Spain's famed Costa del Sol.

It's all aboard at 5:00PM, at which time a festive CBT Canada Cocktail Party begins. All registrants and their guests (of all ages!) are welcome. We'll recount our day in Gibraltar, and review plans for the ports to come!

Day 4. At sea, with CME from 9:00AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM to 4:30PM.

Day 5. Marseille is France's second largest city and the gateway to Provence. Aix-en-Provence, the medieval university town with its iconic Mt Sainte-Victoire, is just 20 minutes away. Avignon is home to the Palace of the Popes and the famous arched bridge constructed in 1171. Arles, founded by Julius Caesar in 46BC, was painted over 100 times by Van Gogh during his tenure there. Cassis is located near the dramatic calanques (fjords).

Day 6. Genoa has the largest historic city center in all of Europe, with attractions like palace-lined Via Garibaldi (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Doge's Palace, San Lorenzo Cathedral, and the Church of the Gesu. Famed Portofino and Rapallo are just up the coast. In addition to shopping at the historic Galleria and insanely high-end Quadrilatero della moda, highlights of nearby Milan include the canals of the Navigli District, Milan Cathedral, Sforza Castle, Leonardo's The Last Supper, La Scala (arguably the world's top opera house), and the brand new Vertical Forest.

Day 7. The port of Livorno is near Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Take in the wonder of The Duomo. Browse the high-end shops lining the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). Be wowed by the masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's greatest art museums. Check out Pisa's famous leaning tower, just 15 minutes from Livorno.

Day 8. Whether it's the Forum, Colosseum, Pantheon, St. Peter's Basilica or Sistine Chapel that sparks your interest and intellect, Rome is home to a lifetime's worth of historical, architectural & spiritual sites. Remember to toss a coin in Trevi Fountain to ensure your return!

Princess’ Chef Pierre-Marie Leprince, recently named a Master Chef of France, introduces delicious new and improved dining options including Slice (USA Today’s Best Pizza at Sea), The Salty Dog Grill, Coffee and Cones, and The Mix.
